Most of us start our home business while we are still working a J-O-B, and that means that you are probably struggling to find enough time in the day to get your home business launched.

Almost everyone I know has at one point said “I just don’t have time!”

So here’s some hints that we used back ‘in the day’ to find those find little pockets of time to help you  build up that home based business:

1) For one week – write down everything you do during the day – and the time involved. Commute time – chat time – visiting with the neighbors time – browsing at the store or surfing online. If you are honest about this – you will be amazed at how much time you can pull away from unproductive activities to focus on your home business goal!

2) Try getting up an hour earlier – or going to bed one hour later for one month. You will find that most people can indeed get by on  a little less sleep – if it works for you – even just a couple of nights a week – you’ve added a few extra  hours of time to your schedule

 3) Can you use your lunch time at work? If you usually spend your lunch time chatting for an hour with coworkers – try spending lunch at your desk or in a nearby park – anywhere that you might be able to do something related to your new home based venture. Bring a lunch that you can eat while you work!

Yes, these ideas are all going to require some ’sacrifice” of personal time – but these sacrifices will ultimately get you closer  to your goal and that is NOT going to a JOB anymore!
